Helen Booth, born in Burton on Trent in 1967, is an accomplished artist currently based in West Wales. She completed her Fine Art Painting degree at Wimbledon School of Art in 1989. Her artistic journey has been significantly shaped by a residency at the Hafnarborg Arts and Culture Centre in Iceland, supported by Wales Arts International.
Booth's work has garnered substantial recognition, earning her awards from prestigious institutions such as the Pollock Krasner Foundation and the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation. These accolades have facilitated intense creative periods in her studio, leading to the development of her distinctive style.
In 2023, Helen Booth held a major solo exhibition at Oriel Davies. She regularly exhibits with Richeldis Fine Art, Loughran Gallery, and Wilson Stephens and Jones. Additionally, her work is available through Holly Hunt Design in the United States.
