WORKS ON PAPER

Traces is an ongoing series of small works on paper, made slowly with oil and graphite. Repeated marks gather across the surface, sometimes remaining visible and sometimes disappearing beneath thin layers of paint. I’m interested in that sense of something having been there. A rhythm, a gesture, a memory,  without needing to describe it too precisely.

At 12 × 9 cm, these are intimate works. Their scale asks you to come closer, where the graphite, texture of the paper and subtle shifts in the painted surface become more apparent. Framed, the small painted area is held within a generous space around it.

Each work is an original, signed and dated on the reverse.

Works are sold unframed.
